Halo 3 Skulls

Halo 3 skulls are Easter eggs, sometimes called cheats, in the popular game Halo 3 designed to add interest or challenge to the game. They have become so popular that there are entire sections of websites dedicated to detailing the Halo 3 skulls.
Hello 3 skulls can be obtained by completing levels from the beginning on normal or higher difficulty level, although resume game can be used from the point a game was saved. Once a skull is acquired it does not have to be saved in other words you could quit the level at that point and still have that skull. Once Halo 3 skulls have been acquired they can be activated in the campaign lobby by clicking on the skull that you wish to activate. That means the game will then be played with the effect that the skull offers.
There are both gold Halo 3 sculls and silver skulls, both of which general types do something different in the game. Gold skulls are achievements which add multipliers to campaign meta game scores, they affect difficulty of gameplay, making it more of a challenge for people who have more skills. Silver Halo 3 skulls, on the other hand, make changes to physics, the appearance of the game, and dialogue that you’ll hear in the course of the game.
Here is a list of Halo 3 skulls as they affect the game:
Iron it’s three times multiplier, if a teammate is dead it will reload a checkpoint if everyone is dead it will restart the level.
Blackeye it’s a 1.5 times multiplier that turns off auto shield regeneration and regenerates targets when you attack them in melee.
Tough luck 1.5 time multiplier, all your enemies will be able to dodge like ninjas.
Catch 1.5 times multiplier that makes NPCs more likely to throw grenades at you.
Fog 1.5 times modifier that removes your motion tracker.
Famine double modifier that renders dropped weapons to half ammo and charge.
Thunderstorm 1.5 times modifier that gives all NPC’s maximum rank.
Tilt double modifier that gives enemies maximum resistance to damage types.
Mythic double modifier that doubles all NPC health.
It’s easy to see how these Halo 3 skulls will make the game more difficult to play, and thus why they multiply the achievement points earned while playing the game. If you put Halo 3 away because it became too easy to play but didn’t know about these Halo 3 skulls, give them a try.
